Our FacilitiesDepartment ensures an exceptional experiencefor our guests by maintaining the unique beauty of our property, inside andout. As a Facilities Operator, you will be responsible for theinspection, repairs, and maintenance of a variety of hotel systems andequipment. Our Facilities Operators are thorough professionals who maintainthe hotel, common areas, and grounds while ensuring our internal systems runseamlessly. Working collaboratively with the Facilities Manager and other hotelstaff to deliver a superior guest experience, our ideal candidate is ambitiousand wants to grow within the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Promote and portray the VIVÂMEE Values.
• Ensure fulfillment of preventative maintenance program tospecific brand standards.
• Inspect guest rooms after preventative maintenance. Reviewany problems with relevant departments and recheck the room/suite beforereleasing it to Housekeeping/Front Office.
• Maintain a current inventory of all supplies.
• Prioritize and complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Communicate with appropriate party/department uponcompletion of tasks.
• Help to repair HVAC as required.
• Assist with room repairs and light carpentry.
• Repair appliances as required.
• Ensure routine preventivemaintenance on equipment is done, including, but not limited to laundryequipment, heating, and air condition units, ice machines, fire extinguishers,fire/smoke alarms, lawn sprinklers, fire equipment, and plumbing in accordancewith warranty specifications.
• Maintain the hotel grounds; curb appeal and buildingexteriors consistently.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest specialrequests.
• Ensure VIVAMEE values are apparent and implemented in allteam and customer interactions.
• Know, understand, and adhere tocompany-established policies and procedures.
• Other tasks as required by the management.

Qualified Candidates Must Have:

• Must be 18 years of age.
• 2 + years of experienceworking as a maintenance technician or relevant background.
• Experience working in amaintenance capacity in a hotel or relevant hospitality background preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC,carpentry, and electrical systems.
• Ability to work in afast-paced environment with frequent interruptions/changes.
• Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills.
• Flexible schedule andability to work nights and weekends.
• Ability to work outdoors ininclement weather.
• Ability to effectivelyinteract with different personality types.
• Construction/electrical/plumbingcertifications are a plus but not required.
• Capable of working independently and with a team.
• Adaptable to changing schedules and priorities,motivated to work autonomously.
• Adaptable to changing deadlines and priorities.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
